Calderdale 1 vs Wakefield Phoenix 1
 
Calderdale 1 won 71-42 with Player of the Match going to Jess Brearley and Sarah Heaton. No match report available
 
Calderdale 2 vs Ellis
 
Stepping out onto the court Calderdale seconds were hoping for their third win of the season. Both teams came out fighting in the first quarter but Ellis struggled to defend against Calderdale's strong attack. Playing a vital role extending Calderdale's lead, Leanne Smith made a number of impressive interceptions that were quickly converted to goals. With a commanding lead, Calder 2 pushed ahead and continued to dominate the court.
 
During half-time, Calderdale's coach Phil Greenhough made some changes to try out some new combinations. Ellis also re-evaluated their positions, switching up defence in an attempt to combat Calderdale's unstoppable attack. The new team dynamic worked better for Ellis and they clawed some vital goals back, edging closer to half score and the hopes of a point.
 
In the final quarter Calderdale were feeling the strains of the high scoring game. Ellis continued to push on in a valiant attempt to reach half score but Calderdale remained in control and denied them that consolatory point in the final seconds.
 
Finishing at a staggering 61-30, Calderdale 2 now sit top of table and undefeated in 3 games. Hopes are high that  they can keep this up for the rest of the season! A well- earned player of the match went to Laura Kennedy who gave 110% throughout, creating opportunities and sinking the goals!
 
Calderdale 3 vs Wakefield Phoenix 2
 
Calderdale 3s faced tough opposition in Wakefield Phoenix this week.
 
With a much changed line up it to previous games it took Calderdale a while to get into the flow of the game but with newcomer Olivia Reynolds making an impressive debut at WA
 
The first quarter was closely fought with both teams trading points but saw Wakefield Phoenix taking the lead 8 -6
 
Captain Kay Hollingworth made a number of changes in the second quarter with Liz Harrison and Pia Rattigan showing their versatility in switching roles. Wakefield Phoenix upped their game and began to build on their lead moving to halftime score of 28 - 13
 
Calderdale remained focused on the game and hassled for possession with some confident and accurate shooting from Gail Gledhill and Ashleigh Hollingworth the 3rd quarter. Preventing Wakefield from creating any further points gap but unable to pull back much of the deficit, the 3rd quarter ended with Wakefield in front 32-18
 
In the final quarter Liz Harrison changed position to goal attack and Calderdale managed to close the gap .Gill Coldwell  and Pia Rattigan (players of the match) both worked tirelessly in defence but in the end the game went to Wakefield - final score 38-27
 
Calderdale 4 vs Milford 3
 
Calderdale 4th Team came their closest yet to their 1st victory as a new squad in the West Yorkshire 5th division, playing Milford 3rd team.
 
Calderdale made full use of their 11 strong squad and started well with Ella Cooper intercepting Milford's first centre pass, but were unable to capitalise on it.
 
Despite Rosie Baldwin and Olivia Baldwin turning over ball with regular occurrence, Calderdale found it difficult to penetrate Milford's defence, finishing the first half trailing by 6 goals.
 
Player of the match Luci Hinch stepped it up a gear in the 2nd half, combining well with WA Beth Long and GA Bethany Hirst, Calderdale winning the 3rd quarter by 3 goals.
 
But they were unable to keep up the pressure & finished out the game with a 32-35 loss.
